Numerous studies show that children raised in non-supportive environments have much higher rates of disruptive behaviors, stress related illnesses such as asthma and anti-depressant use. If children have a safe and loving home in their first years, they work to construct safe loving homes for themselves when they are adults. If they have a childhood of deprivation, child psychologists say that at three years old they give up. According to the CDC, around 60% of adults have had at least one traumatic childhood experience, compared to 97% of inmates.

The solution is to provide safe, warm homes with multiple avenues of support for the first 3 years

Our definition of supportive: We endeavor to establish and operate residential facilities, to include nutritional food, part-time caregivers, and a supervising nurse, for pregnant women in need until the newborn child reaches three years of age.

Our model for this type of housing exist in Board and Cares for both the elderly and disabled adults.
